This year the students at Newlonsburg will be participating in the FITNESSGRAM to assess their health-related fitness. The FITNESSGRAM promotes regular physical activity for students.

The students will be assessed using the following tests:

1.) PACER test: Progressive Aerobic Cardiovascular Endurance Run
2.) Curl-up
3.) Trunk Lift
4.) Flexed Arm Hang
5.) Push-Up
6.) Sit & Reach

Each test will be administered twice a year, once in the Fall and then again in the Spring.

The goal of each student is to get into the 'Healthy Fitness Zone'. Click on the link to see the zones depending on the age of the child.
